Damus, one of the fastest-growing Twitter alternatives, has been pulled from China’s App Store just two days after the app was approved by Apple.

The deletion comes at the request of the Chinese government, which claims it has “content that is illegal in China”, TechCrunch reports.

Damus is a decentralised app built on Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey’s Nostr networking protocol.
