Tesla owners targeted and subjected to attacks

Published 20 March 2025

In a short period of time, dealers and owners of Tesla cars have been fired upon and attacked with firebombs.

American Tesla owners are being targeted, along with personal information and home addresses, on the “Dogequest” website, which encourages visitors to commit attacks and vandalism against Tesla cars and stores.

A large number of attacks have also taken place, including firebombs, and the US Attorney General considers that the attacks should be classified as “domestic terrorism”.

Yesterday, a number of Tesla owners confirmed that the online map decorated with an image of a Molotov cocktail, which has been widely circulated on social media, contains accurate personal information about them – including contact details and residential addresses.

Visitors are encouraged to use spray paint to “unleash your artistic flair” on the nearest Tesla car or use other forms of “creative expressions of protest” against the vehicles.

Opponents of Donald Trump’s advisor Elon Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) are believed to be behind the site. It is believed that the calls for vandalism are a kind of “revenge” against Musk because he has promised to implement extensive cuts or to completely close several US agencies – with the aim of streamlining the government apparatus and reducing runaway costs.

Notably, there have also been a number of high-profile attacks on Tesla cars in recent weeks, with cars set on fire, dealers firebombed or attacked, and owners reporting vandalism and harassment to the police.

“Serious consequences”

FBI Assistant Director Dan Bongino confirms that they are actively investigating the incidents, and Attorney General Pamela Bondi goes even further, saying the attacks should be classified as “domestic terrorism”.

The swarm of violent attacks on Tesla property is nothing short of domestic terrorism. The Department of Justice has already charged several perpetrators with that in mind, including in cases that involve charges with five-year mandatory minimum sentences”, she writes in a press release.

“We will continue investigations that impose severe consequences on those involved in these attacks, including those operating behind the scenes to coordinate and fund these crimes”, she further promises.

Attacks on Swedish Tesla cars

Not surprisingly, Elon Musk himself has drawn attention to the attacks, and he too believes that they are “extreme domestic terrorism”.

Having our personal addresses out there is not something that I think is cool”, Tesla owner Scott told NBC, arguing that there are far more effective ways to protest than attacking individuals’ property.

Others say that they bought their cars several years ago, long before Elon Musk became politically involved, and that they themselves have no major political interest, but that they are nevertheless singled out as political enemies who risk being attacked.

The Nordic Times has previously reported how Tesla cars in Sweden have been sabotaged and how four vehicles in a short time were set on fire in the Gothenburg area.

Brits imprisoned at record numbers for opinion crimes

Totalitarianism

Published today 12:01

The signs of democratic decline in the UK are growing. Citizens are now being arrested in their tens of thousands for alleged crimes of opinion on social media, while freedom of expression continues to be curtailed in the country.

Western leaders often use Russia as a cautionary example of anti-democratic laws targeting the country’s citizens, while more and more countries in the West are themselves tightening the screws on the right to speak and write freely.

Hate crime laws are being used more and more frequently in the UK to silence popular discontent, according to an article in Tablet Magazine from March 2025, among other sources. According to a recent report by the free speech organization The Free Speech Union, the police make around 12,000 arrests annually for content on social media that is deemed “offensive”. This figure also marks a 58 percent increase since 2019.

Official statistics from the UK also show a clear trend. In 2023, 145,214 hate crimes were recorded, according to government data. The figure fell slightly to 140,561 in 2024, but arrests for social media posts continued to rise.

Politicians in the UK, including the current government, defend the increasingly harsh laws on the grounds that so-called minorities must be protected.

Legislation such as the Communications Act 2003 and the Malicious Communications Act 1988 underlies many interventions. These laws prohibit posts, messages, and expressions that may be considered grossly offensive or threatening.
Police make 30 arrests a day for offensive online messages, states The Free Speech Union in its analysis.

Unlike many other countries, the United Kingdom also has no formal constitution protecting freedom of expression.

The Human Rights Act 1998 (HRA) is intended to guarantee fundamental rights, including the right to freedom of expression under Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights. However, the HRA does not have the same constitutional status and can be amended or repealed by ordinary legislation.

The Malicious Communications Act 1988 (MCA) is a UK law that prohibits sending or delivering messages, letters or other items with the intention of causing alarm or distress to the recipient. The Act applies to both physical and electronic communications, including social media posts.

Under this law, it is illegal to send messages that are:

  • Greatly offensive or indecent
  • Threatening
  • False and deliberately disseminated to mislead or harm

.For a person to be convicted, the prosecution must prove that the intention was to cause the recipient alarm or distress. The penalty can be a fine or imprisonment up to two years.

The Communications Act 2003, in particular section 127, extends the rules to electronic communications networks and prohibits sending messages that are:

  • Greatly offensive, indecent, obscene or menacing
  • intended to cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless alarm

.The mental aspect of this law is broader, meaning that it is enough that the person should have realized that the message could be offensive or risk offending the recipient.

Germany’s security service labels AfD as extremist

Totalitarianism

AfD party leader Alice Weidel condemns the announcement.

The German constitutional protection agency, Bundesamt für Verfassungsschutz (BfV), has decided to classify the entire Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) party as a “right-wing extremist” organization. The agency announced this on Friday after what it described as an “intense and comprehensive” investigation.

The classification gives the state extended powers to monitor the party, for example through wiretapping and the use of infiltrators. The BfV has previously designated the AfD’s regional branches in Thuringia and Saxony-Anhalt as “proven extremist”.

In its statement, the BfV mentions that the party represents a view of “ethnicity-and ancestry-based conception of the people that predominates within the party is not compatible with the free democratic order”. The agency also highlights “xenophobic, anti-minority, Islamophobic and anti-Muslim statements made by leading party officials” as reasons for its decision.

AfD party leaders Alice Weidel and Tino Chrupalla call the decision a politically motivated attack and condemn it in a public statement.

Today’s decision by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution is a serious blow to German democracy: in current polls, the AfD is the strongest party. The federal government has only four days left in office, and the secret service does not even have a president anymore. And the classification as a so-called ‘suspicious case’ has not been legally finalized, the statement reads, and continues:

Nevertheless, the AfD, as an opposition party, is now being publicly discredited and criminalized shortly before the change of government. The associated targeted interference in the democratic decision-making process is therefore clearly politically motivated. The AfD will continue to defend itself legally against these defamatory attacks that threaten democracy”.

RFK jr: Military research agency sprays toxic chemicals into the atmosphere

Kennedy states that it is the military research agency DARPA that adds toxic chemicals to aviation fuel.

US Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. reiterated this week his commitment to ending weather manipulation and geoengineering through harmful chemicals sprayed into the atmosphere from aircraft.

According to RFK, it is likely that the US military technology research agency is behind the phenomenon, and he promises to get to the bottom of it and hold those responsible accountable.

Weather manipulation, geoengineering, and “chemtrails” have long been dismissed by those in power as ridiculous conspiracy theories but that view is changing under the Trump presidency.

Recently, The Nordic Times reported that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis wants to ban weather manipulation activities in the state – and several other US politicians have also expressed concern about the phenomenon.

The outspoken Health Minister Robert F. Kennedy Jr. drew attention to and took a stand against weather manipulation several years ago, declaring last year, for example, that he is determined to “stop this crime”.

In an appearance on the television program Dr. Phil this week, the health minister reiterated his position on the issue after a viewer named Emily asked a question about aerosol spraying in the atmosphere.

– The stratospheric aerosol injections that are continuously peppered on us every day. Bromium, aluminum, strontium, it’s sprayed in our skies all day long… How do we stop it? she asked.

”Will hold them accountable”

Kennedy emphasized that this information is taken very seriously – but that it is not something his own department (the Department of Health and Human Services) is involved in.

Instead, he believes that the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is responsible for it all.

– That is not happening in my agency. We don’t do that. It’s done – we think – by DARPA and a lot of it now is coming out of the jet fuel. Those materials are put in jet fuel.

– I’m going to do everything in my power to stop it. We’re bringing on somebody who’s gonna think only about that, find out who’s doing that and hold them accountable, the health secretary promised.

However, left-wing liberal media outlets and opposition politicians are not at all pleased that Kennedy is taking these concerns seriously and wants to investigate them further.

Instead of finding out whether the allegations are actually true, Kennedy’s move quickly resulted in a widespread smear campaign in the mass media, portraying him as a “tinfoil hat” or “crazy conspiracy theorist”.

USA signs mineral deal with Ukraine

The war in Ukraine

Published 1 May 2025

The newly signed US-Ukraine mineral agreement may be the first sign that the hatchet between Zelensky and Trump is at least temporarily buried.

The US and Ukraine have formally signed a comprehensive mineral agreement that gives Washington access to Ukraine’s strategic mineral resources. The agreement can be seen as a deepening of cooperation between the countries in the wake of the high-profile and aborted meeting between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky in February.

On April 30, the US and Ukraine signed an economic partnership agreement that gives the US access to Ukraine’s important mineral reserves, including rare earth metals, reports PBS News.

The agreement also means that the parties will create a joint investment fund to support Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal describes the agreement as “a strategic deal for the creation of an investment partner fund. This is truly an equal and good international deal on joint investment in the development and restoration of Ukraine between the governments of the United States and Ukraine”.

Trump: Repayment

The fund will be managed jointly with equal voting rights, with both countries contributing to the capital. Revenues from new licenses for critical minerals, oil, and gas will be shared, with 50 percent going to Ukraine’s treasury via the fund.

Donald Trump has described the mineral agreement as an important part of the US’s continued commitment to Ukraine. He has emphasized that the agreement gives the US access to strategic resources and can serve as a form of repayment from Ukraine for the military support Washington has provided to Kiev.

In his speech to the US Congress on March 4, 2025, Trump mentioned the mineral agreement and emphasized Ukraine’s willingness to sign it. He highlighted the importance of the partnership for US national security and stability in the region, without going into details about the content of the agreement.

Difficult negotiations

The agreement has been preceded by lengthy and at times difficult negotiations, in which security guarantees have been a key issue. During a meeting at the White House in February, a planned summit between Trump and Zelensky was abruptly canceled after disagreement over the terms.

Zelensky has emphasized the importance of security guarantees and said that negotiations are ongoing. However, Prime Minister Shmyhal has expressed optimism that the agreement will be signed and that it will strengthen Ukraine’s future.

Ukraine’s mineral resources include 22 of the 50 materials classified as critical by the US Geological Survey, including rare earth metals that are essential for electronics, clean energy technology, and certain weapons systems.

The agreement is also part of the US strategy to reduce dependence on China, which dominates global production of rare earth metals.

In parallel with the agreement, the US and Ukraine have discussed the possibility of including future military support as part of the investment fund, although previous military aid is not covered.

At the time of writing, no official comments from the Kremlin or Moscow have been published in connection with the agreement.
