Jamie White, a journalist and researcher for the investigative media platform InfoWars, was murdered on Sunday night near his home in Austin, Texas.
In a statement, the site’s founder and founder Alex Jones confirmed that the journalist was “brutally murdered” and blamed White’s death on left-liberal policies.
– I lay all of this squarely at the feet of Soros and of the sort of crime syndicate of the Democratic Party. They are the ones that administratively cut the police, prosecuted the police.
– You murdered Jamie White, you opened the door, you created the climate, you created conditions on purpose. George Soros. Alexander Soros, you murdered Jamie White, continued an outraged Jones.
He further promises that “Jamie’s tragic death will not be in vain, and those responsible for this senseless violence will be brought to justice”.
No suspected perpetrator
Jones described White as the best writer on InfoWars and a “good friend” who had worked on the site for many years.
The details of the murder are still unclear in many respects, but Jamie White was reportedly on his way home from work when he was killed. He was reportedly found in the parking lot of an apartment complex with “obvious signs of trauma” and was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Police say they currently have no information on a suspected perpetrator but say an investigation is ongoing.
Although much is still unclear, Jones seems to be of the opinion that there are political motives behind the murder. Among other things, Jones has shared a post from June 2024 in which Jamie White says that his name was added to a list of “enemies of Ukraine”, and suggests without presenting further evidence that this could be linked to White’s death.
“A kill list”
Mirotvorets (peacemakers in Ukrainian) publishes personal information on those individuals who are considered a threat to Ukraine’s national security. It is not only about military representatives – a large number of private individuals, politicians, journalists and human rights activists in other countries are also on the list.
It has been previously reported that British rock artist Roger Waters is also on the list after opposing Western involvement in the war.
– I’m on a kill list that is supported by the Ukrainian government. I’m on the fucking list, and they’ve killed people recently.… But when they kill you, they write ‘liquidated’ across your picture. Well, I’m one of those fucking pictures, he said in a recent interview.
