The US President continues to show clear signs of increasing confusion and deteriorating mental health, confusing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky with Russia’s Vladimir Putin and his own Vice President with his main rival Donald Trump.
At the same time, a growing number of voices within his own party are calling on Biden to drop out of the presidential race, saying he simply has no chance of winning.
During the June presidential debate, Biden appeared so confused and incoherent that a large number of left-liberal opinion leaders questioned whether he really has the mental acuity to be the next president of the United States.
And the president’s mental health does not appear to have improved since then. On the sidelines of the NATO summit in Washington, Biden referred to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as “President Putin” and confused his vice president, Kamala Harris, with his chief patron, Donald Trump.
– Ladies and gentlemen, President Putin, Biden said, addressing Zelenskyi, before trying to excuse himself by saying the mispronunciation was because he was focused on defeating the Russian president.
At another point during the press conference, he referred to Kamala Harris as “Vice President Trump” – unclear why.
At the latest press conference, Biden introduced Zelensky as ‘President Putin’, and he referred to Kamala Harris as ‘Vice President Trump’.
I’m actually losing *my* fucking mind here.

“For our country’s sake”
The misstatements have not only led to Biden being heckled by political opponents, but also to a growing number of his own supporters believing it’s high time for him to step down.
According to the New York Times, 17 Democratic lawmakers have so far openly called on the president to drop out of the presidential race – including Peter Welch, a senator from Vermont.
– Today I ask President Biden to withdraw from the presidential campaign. The stakes are high, and we are on a losing course, pleads Scott Peters, Democratic representative for California, while Greg Stanton, representing Arizona, says Biden should step aside “For our country’s sake, it is time for the president to pass the torch to a new generation of leaders”.
– I would say: Mr. President, your legacy is set. We owe you the greatest debt of gratitude. The only thing that you can do now to cement that for all time and prevent utter catastrophe is to step down and let someone else do this, Illinois Democrat Mike Quigley said in a statement.
Curious turn of events
In particular, critics of Joe Biden have pointed out for years that he has behaved very confusedly, often seeming not to know where he is or what he is doing – and conspicuously confusing people, places and events.
Until recently, this criticism was dismissed as a smear campaign orchestrated by trolls and political opponents – but since the presidential debate, both the left-liberal media and his own party officials have suddenly reversed course.
The suddenness of the establishment’s reversal, despite the fact that Biden’s confusion has been documented and discussed for so long, is a sign, according to some observers, that plans to replace the aging Biden with Harris have been in the works for some time, but that they have been waiting for the “right time” to do so without splitting the party and the electorate.
