American Jews must vote for Donald Trump – or Israel will perish forever, the Republican presidential candidate declared Thursday.
– I will work with you to make sure Israel is with us for thousands of years… You’re not going to have an Israel if she becomes president… Israel will no longer exist.
The Israel lobby is very influential in the United States, and many American politicians regularly express strong loyalty to Israel, which may seem strange and alien to foreign observers.
Donald Trump is no exception. While in the White House, he was often described as the “most pro-Israel president ever”, and now he is warning American Jews that a vote for the
Democratic Party’s Kamala Harris could lead to Israel’s demise.
– I don’t understand how anybody can support them — and I say it constantly — if you had them to support and you were Jewish, you have to have your head examined, he declared at the Republican Jewish Coalition’s annual conference in Las Vegas.
“Will never survive”
It is noteworthy, however, that about 75% of Jewish voters voted for Biden in the last election. According to a poll conducted over the summer (before Biden dropped out), only 24% of American Jews said they were prepared to vote for Trump.
– I’ve done more for Israel than anyone. This year we will probably be around a 50% mark, Trump claimed.
– You’ll never survive if they get in, and our country America will never survive if they get in… If Kamala Harris wins, terrorist armies will wage an unceasing war to drive Jews out of the Holy Land, he continued.

“One or two years”
In another speech this week in Wisconsin, Trump declared that Israel is “doomed” if Kamala Harris wins.
– Israel will be gone. One year, two years. Israel will be gone.One year, two years. Israel will no longer exist. I better win, I better win, or you’re going to have problems like we’ve never had, he said.
A spokesperson for Kamala Harris’s campaign has commented on the remarks, saying that Trump “openly demeans Jewish Americans” – as he allegedly has ties to “neo-Nazis” and has joked that the only people he wants to count his money are “short guys with yarmulkes”.
Instead, it claims that Kamala Harris is Israel’s greatest friend and has “been a lifelong supporter of the State of Israel as a secure, democratic homeland for the Jewish people”.
“She has an unwavering commitment to the security of Israel and will always stand up for its right to defend itself”, it says.
