Former presidential candidate and wife Hillary Clinton claims that Donald Trump is “gaga” with Vladimir Putin and that he wants to “kill and imprison his opposition” and “drive journalists and others into exile”.
On Friday, when Clinton appeared on the left-liberal podcast “Defending Democracy,” she admitted that Joe Biden is “old” – but defended him by saying that despite his age, he is “effective and compassionate”.
His challenger, Donald Trump, however, according to Clinton, is not only lacking in humanity – he is allegedly downright murderous and bloodthirsty – and she claims that Trump has a deep-seated desire to murder his political opponents.
– Trump was like, you know, just gaga over Putin because Putin does what Trump would like to do: Kill his opposition, imprison his opposition, drive journalists and others into exile, rule without any check or balance, she claimed.

“Very scary prospect”
However, she did not provide any actual evidence for these spectacular claims, instead stating that “this is what Trump really wants.”
– And so we have to be very conscious of how he sees the world because, in that world, he only sees strongmen leaders. He sees Putin, he sees Xi, he sees Kim Jong-un in North Korea. Those are the people he is modeling himself after, and we’ve been down this road in our, you know, world history. We sure don’t want to go down that again, she continued.
Hillary Clinton also expressed concern that Trump might pull the US out of NATO, describing it as “a very scary prospect”.
– Withdrawing us from NATO, not caring about what happens with Europe, the idea that he wants Ukraine to fail. The idea that he doesn’t want us to be able to surveil our enemies. This is a very scary prospect.
Her statement that Donald Trump really wants to kill his opponents has sparked amusement and anger in conservative circles and on social media, with many pointing out that there seems to be no end to the smear campaigns for the upcoming presidential election.
An older clip of Clinton herself laughing about the violent death of Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi has also been resurfaced in the wake of her recent comments.
Remember when Hillary Clinton laughingly said this about the death of Qadaffi (who was absolutely no threat to US):
