Two women have been shot dead in a villa in Tullinge, south of Stockholm. Two individuals have been arrested and are suspected of murder.

During the night leading to Friday, at around 01:25, several calls about a shooting were made to the police.

– It was found that shots were fired in a villa, and we can confirm that two women have died, says the police spokesperson, Anders Bryngelsson, according to LT.

A perpetrator is reported to have entered the house and shot the women dead. In addition to the victims, there were three children and one adult in the house, who escaped without any physical injuries.

On Thursday, a parent was also killed in another shooting in Västberga in Stockholm. The other parent in the incident was shot as well but survived. A child was also injured, but the injuries are reported to be minor.

Further investigations are being conducted to determine if the shooting can be linked to previous incidents in Stockholm and Uppsala.

The police have arrested two individuals suspected of the murders but have not provided additional details.
