Peter Hummelgaard is appalled by reports of "Swedish child soldiers" committing murder in Denmark.

After reading chat logs showing minors with Swedish citizenship being paid to commit murder for hire in Denmark, the country’s foreign minister, Peter Hummelgaard, is both saddened and angry.

– It reflects a completely sick, depraved culture of violence that something like this could take place in Sweden and grow into a phenomenon. We don’t want that in Denmark, he thunders.

The minister himself confirms that “child soldiers” with Swedish citizenship are hired by criminal gangs to commit serious crimes in Denmark. When Danish TV2 showed posts and messages from Telegram calling for “shots in the head”, explosions with hand grenades and contract killings, the minister was outraged and visibly tired of the unsafe situation in the neighboring country.

It is deeply appalling and frightening that there are so many young people in Sweden who seem to be willing to commit such serious crimes.

It seems that it costs between 300,000 and 500,000 SEK for a “child soldier” to travel from Sweden to travel across the strait to murder someone, and several anonymous profiles write that they are responsible for the practical implementation of potential crimes.

“Horrifying in every way”

Hummelgaard describes the messages as “terrifying” and explains that the widespread violent crime that exists in Sweden is not something you want to import under any circumstances.

– It’s horrible in every way, and it makes me angry. Really, really angry. I think the vast majority of Danes find it difficult to understand that our neighbor across the Sound has areas that are so broken down that this can exist, he continued.

The minister also called on “Swedish” criminals to stay away and promised that “of course we will also put pressure on Sweden to take responsibility for these things.
