Animal Protection Sweden has released an audio album featuring a horse, a cow and a rabbit. The organization has decided to release the album to make it easier for others to support them and the animals when inflation has eaten up all the money.

With record high inflation making things more difficult for most, the animal welfare organization Djurskyddet has found new ways for people to support their work without giving money. When the audio tracks are listened to, the proceeds of the streaming go back to the organization, and therefore to the animals.

The album Chill for Change is a collection of ten white noise sounds by – and also for – animals. You can listen to soundtracks such as Hen Zen, Snooze Dog or Swine Siesta.

“As the recession continues, we wanted to find new ways for people to support and make a difference for animals. By streaming the album, you can now give – but without taking from your own pocket”, Djurskyddet writes.

Simply put, white noise is a special type of relaxation sound that many people use, for example when they go to sleep.

– “This album is like a kind of pension fund for the animals, it will generate money as long as the channel exists and thus benefit our work for a long time to come,” says Åsa Hagelstedt, Secretary General of Djurskyddet Sverige, in a press release.

The album is available on Spotify.
