Asian women prefer caucasian sperm donors

Experts believe that Asian women have a preference for donors of European descent.

As in vitro fertilization becomes more normalized around the world, there is also an increased demand for white donors in Asia. Caucasian skin is considered highly desirable in many non-European countries, and many women in countries such as India and China also require sperm donors to have a Western appearance.

The trend, recently highlighted by Red Ice TV, has been going on for more than a decade and Indian media, including doctors, report that women are keen to have white and blue-eyed children if possible.

– Couples who come for in-vitro fertilization (IVF) list out specifications – the egg or sperm donor should be educated, fair, have blue eyes, IVF expert Rita Bakshi explained in 2013, adding that about 70 percent of clients ask for a fair-skinned donor.

This is despite the fact that so-called “designer babies” are very expensive and require significantly more paperwork and approvals than regular IVF. As recently as 11 years ago, a European donor could charge up to $5,000 for his sperm if he was well educated and in good physical health.

Manish Banker, who runs an Indian fertility clinic, confirms that there is a “rising trend” in the search for fair-skinned donors and that “couples usually usually ask for donors with blue or brown eyes”.

– We are so grateful that our daughter Vani is as white as milk. There is no denying that it is easier to get fair girls married, said a woman named Suresh who underwent IVF treatment, and another explained that she wanted a fair-skinned child because she had married into a fair-skinned family.

Same trend in China

Legislation varies from country to country. Some Western countries prohibit donors from demanding financial compensation, while others have no regulations at all on how much they can charge.

The same trend can be seen in China, where wealthy Chinese women are increasingly choosing white sperm donors to have children “on their own” – so much so that the Danish sperm bank Cryos International has created a website entirely in Chinese – and even hired staff who speak the language.

Peter Reeslev, CEO of Cryos International, says that “Chinese women tend to choose white donors” – although it is unclear whether this is due to a shortage of Chinese donors. In China, regulations around in vitro fertilization are much stricter, and sperm banks are primarily used to “treating infertility and preventing genetic diseases” – which may be one reason why many are turning to the West instead.

However, other experts state that Chinese women prefer white sperm donors, regardless of the other options available, and that it is very common for them to specifically request a white donor, while it is very rare for them to request a Chinese donor. Several women also state that they “prefer” their babies to be light-skinned.

Danish fertility clinics have been singled out as particularly popular because they offer their “clients” a variety of options – in addition to eye color, ethnicity, hair color and posture, you can also see the donor’s baby pictures, handwriting and hear her voice before making your decision.

Denmark – a world leader

Founded in 1987 in Aarhus, Denmark, Cryos International describes itself as “the largest sperm bank in the world” – and its focus is on the international market. Last year, 60% of all sperm used in Dutch fertility clinics came from Denmark, and 6 out of 10 children born to donors in Belgium have Danish biological fathers. In the UK, 20% of donated sperm comes from Denmark and it is estimated that a total of 90% of all sperm donated in Denmark is then shipped to other EU countries.

The company says it currently has around 1,000 available donors to choose from in the country, where more than 1% of all babies are now born through in vitro fertilization. Cryos officials say there is no longer a “taboo” around IVF treatments in Denmark and that the practice has “become part of our culture”.

The lack of regulation allows Cryos to advertise on Instagram, YouTube and other social media, targeting young men for recruitment. Those selected are then paid around the equivalent of €40 per donation session, and there is currently said to be such a surplus of volunteers that the sperm bank can screen out 95% of applicants.

14-year-old “Sophie of Dundee” becomes viral hero – a symbol of Britain’s betrayed children

Deteriorating safety

On social media, AI-generated images are spreading where "Sophie of Dundee" is portrayed as Scottish freedom fighter William Wallace from the movie Braveheart.

A 14-year-old girl from Dundee, Scotland who was arrested for weapon possession after defending her little sister has become a viral hero on social media.

The girl, who wielded an axe and machete to reportedly protect her 12-year-old sister from harassing immigrant men, is now being praised worldwide and has become a symbol of what British children must do when authorities and the adult world have abandoned them.

A 14-year-old girl from Dundee, Scotland has reportedly been arrested for weapon possession after allegedly trying to protect her little sister from adult migrants who reportedly harassed them for weeks.

In a video circulated on social media, the girl, who according to some reports is named Sophie, is seen wielding an axe and a machete while one of the girls screams off-camera:

— Don’t fucking punch my little sister, she’s 12. The confrontation reportedly took place on Saturday afternoon in the Lochee district, where the two immigrant men allegedly filmed the girls as they approached.

Musk: Politicians bear the blame

The incident has caused a major stir on social media where the girl is now being hailed as a Scottish hero, and even Tesla CEO Elon Musk has drawn attention to the case.

“Start by condemning the grovelers and collaborators in positions of authority in Britain who aided the rape epidemic of their own people or turned a blind eye to their responsibilities”, the tech billionaire wrote angrily on platform X, referring to the systematic grooming scandals that have shaken Britain over the years.

On social media, images and AI-generated video clips have spread depicting the girl as a modern version of Scottish hero William Wallace from the film Braveheart. She is being called “Sophie of Dundee,” “Braveheart,” and “Sophie the Brave” by her supporters, who see her as an unwilling symbol of citizens’ desperation when the state has failed and abandoned those who are most vulnerable.

Danish data researcher Jonatan Pallesen called the image of the girl potentially iconic: “The UK has catastrophically failed in protecting their 12-year-old girls… and so this 14-year-old sister must do it”, he writes on X.

“Shouldn’t have to live like this”

Podcaster Basil the Great, who was one of the users who first spread the video, states angrily: “She’s a child. A little girl. Someone’s daughter. And she’s screaming at a grown foreign man to leave her alone. WE SHOULDN’T BE LIVING LIKE THIS!”

The girl has quickly become a symbol of what many Britons see as the state’s total failure to protect its vulnerable citizens – and its children in particular.

“Any government that refuses to protect its daughters is illegitimate. The crown is in the gutter, just waiting for someone to come pick it up”, writes user Dale Stark, summarizing the growing frustration over societal developments.

Authorities’ betrayal continues

According to Scottish police, the girl was arrested around 7:40 PM on Saturday following a report of a “female youth with a bladed weapon” on St Ann Lane in Dundee. She has been charged with weapon possession and will be reported to relevant authorities. The men who reportedly harassed the girls for weeks have allegedly neither been arrested nor investigated, which has also increased the already massive public outcry against the authorities’ actions.

The incident has brought renewed attention to the debate about the extensive grooming scandals in British cities like Rotherham, Rochdale and Oxford, where thousands of young girls were systematically exploited over decades by mainly Pakistani gangs while authorities actively avoided taking action for fear of appearing racist.

Meanwhile, critics emphasize that although older grooming scandals and organized sexual crimes against children committed by immigrant gangs have after many years begun to receive attention in Britain, there is nothing to suggest this belongs to the past. On the contrary, many believe that children are still being subjected to abuse on a massive scale while politicians and authorities choose to ignore or even silence what is happening.

Although the details are still unclear and reports are sometimes contradictory, both regarding the sequence of events and the age of those involved, the incident with the 14-year-old girl from Dundee is viewed by many as further proof that the same pattern continues – where young girls are left to defend themselves while authorities arrest the victims instead of the perpetrators.

Moscow: Zelensky has no mandate to conclude peace

The war in Ukraine

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov once again points out that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's presidential term actually expired long ago.
2 minute read

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov opens the door to talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. At the same time, he states that any peace agreements require a legally legitimate signatory – something Zelensky is not since his presidential mandate has formally expired.

In the interview, which was broadcast on NBC on Sunday, Lavrov leaves the door open for direct negotiations between President Vladimir Putin and Zelensky – “provided this meeting is really going to decide something”. At the same time, he points out that the necessary groundwork for such a summit is still lacking.

The Russian foreign minister argues that Zelensky functions as Ukraine’s “de facto leader of the regime,” but simultaneously highlights what Moscow sees as a decisive problem.

— The issue of who is going to sign the deal on the Ukrainian side is a very serious.

— We would need a very clear understanding by everybody that the person who is signing is legitimate, Lavrov explains further.

No new elections during war

The core of Moscow’s criticism lies in the fact that Zelensky’s presidential mandate formally expired over a year ago. The Ukrainian president has not called new elections, citing the current state of emergency due to the war. This has led Moscow to officially declare him “illegitimate”.

Lavrov goes so far as to dismiss Zelensky’s recurring requests for a meeting with Putin as “basically a game” – and an attempt to strengthen his own questioned position.

— A game he is very good at playing because he wants theatrics in everything he is doing. He does not care about substance, says the Russian foreign minister.

“Zelensky said no to everything”

Regarding prospects for meaningful negotiations, Lavrov points to what he describes as Kiev’s unwillingness to compromise. As an example, he mentions how Zelensky previously allegedly defied then-US President Donald Trump.

— Zelensky said no to everything… He clearly stated that nobody can prohibit him from joining NATO… he publicly stated that he is not going to discuss any territories.

Russian demands for a peace solution stand in sharp contrast to Ukraine’s position. Moscow insists that Ukraine must remain neutral, undergo demilitarization and “denazification”, as well as “recognize the current territorial realities on the ground” – meaning giving up claims to areas now under Russian control.

From the Ukrainian side, there have been signals that Zelensky is indeed prepared to discuss the country’s territorial disputes with Russia – but without any intention of formally recognizing any territorial losses.

US increases military presence off Venezuela’s coast

Parts of the US Navy have been heading toward Venezuela's coast in recent days.

The US has deployed at least three warships to waters off Venezuela in what it claims is an operation against drug trafficking. However, Bolivian President Luis Arce argues that the real purpose is geopolitical control over Latin America and its natural resources.

The US has recently expanded its military presence in the Caribbean by positioning three Aegis-class destroyers – USS Gravely, USS Jason Dunham and USS Sampson – in waters off Venezuela’s coast, according to several media reports. The amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima is also reportedly part of the force.

The operation reportedly involves approximately 4,000 American military personnel, including Marines, and is officially described by the US as part of the fight against drug trafficking to America. Specifically targeting drug trafficking originating from the Venezuelan drug cartel “Cartel de los Soles” (Cartel of the Suns).

The American administration emphasizes that preventing and limiting drug flows to the US are high-priority objectives. In addition to the destroyers, reconnaissance aircraft and an attack submarine are being used in the area to monitor and combat drug smuggling.

Meanwhile, Venezuela has responded by mobilizing more than 4.5 million members of the country’s militia forces to defend national sovereignty. Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro calls the American presence a “provocation” and a threat to Venezuela’s territorial integrity.

Bolivian president: “A cover story”

Washington regards Nicolás Maduro as an illegitimate leader and has offered a $50 million bounty for his capture. The Venezuelan government dismisses US accusations as politically motivated and unfounded.

From Bolivia, President Luis Arce has criticized the US military escalation during a video address at the Bolivarian Alliance (ALBA) summit.

We know that behind this failed international war on drugs lies the real objective to geopolitically control Latin America for its natural resources and to dismantle organized peoples, so that we cannot follow our own sovereign path, says the Bolivian president.

He argues that the international “war on drugs” is actually a cover story for America’s ambition to geopolitically control Latin America and exploit the region’s natural resources, as well as to crush the peoples’ independence and sovereignty. Arce emphasized that Bolivia stands firm in its sovereignty and peaceful cooperation within the region.

The American military buildup has created concern in Latin America, as critics argue that the measure risks escalating tensions and contributing to destabilization in an already troubled region.

Merkel admits: Population replacement policy drove Germans to AfD

Population replacement in the West

Today, the AfD is the largest party in large parts of eastern Germany - largely due to the policies pursued during Angela Merkel's tenure as German Chancellor.
3 minute read

In a new documentary, Germany’s former Chancellor Angela Merkel admits that her borderless migration policy from 2015 onwards caused many Germans to abandon the establishment parties and instead turn to the nationalist Alternative for Germany.

Despite her migration policy having far-reaching negative consequences for the German people and society, Merkel emphasizes that she regrets nothing.

“Wir schaffen das” – we can do it. Angela Merkel’s words from August 2015 became the symbol of Germany’s borderless mass immigration policy when the country received nearly one million asylum seekers during a single autumn. The decision, which was made without broad political support, fundamentally changed German society according to many observers.

Now, nine years later, the former Chancellor is forced to admit in a documentary on the public service channel ARD that her policy also had major political consequences – and that many Germans abandoned the old established parties and instead sought alternatives that better represented their interests.

— Of course my decision caused people to join AfD. And in that way AfD definitely became stronger, says Merkel in the documentary.

“Major task”

The EU- and immigration-critical Alternative for Germany (AfD) today runs almost neck-and-neck with Merkel’s own Christian Democratic CDU/CSU in opinion polls – a dramatic development that can be directly linked to the mass immigration wave of 2015 and the societal problems that followed.

Despite this, Merkel refuses to acknowledge any mistakes. In the documentary, she stubbornly defends both her policy and her controversial statement.

— It wasn’t meant to express anything other than that we face a major task, she says about the infamous words “Wir schaffen das” – a promise that many Germans today consider naive, deceptive and detached from reality.

Stifled debate during Merkel’s era

Under Merkel’s leadership, Germany pursued perhaps Europe’s most borderless immigration policy, while all criticism was systematically dismissed and opponents routinely labeled as “racists” and “Nazis” – a smear campaign strategy that remains common ten years later.

Germany also has some of the Western world’s harshest laws regarding opinion crimes. People who publicly criticize immigration policy in strong terms risk substantial fines and prison sentences – an arrangement that free speech activists say has created a culture of self-censorship and fear of expressing what one really thinks about the consequences of immigration.

Despite more than one in five Germans today voting for AfD – and the party being largest in large parts of eastern Germany – its opponents still try to criminalize it by claiming its policies violate the German constitution.

Rhetorical shift

In recent years, Germany and several other European countries have drastically changed their rhetoric around migration. Talk of open hearts and boundless solidarity has been replaced by demands for stricter border controls and tougher asylum rules.

In practice, however, the tougher rhetoric has not resulted in any comprehensive change. Mass immigration continues, albeit at a somewhat lower pace, while promised large-scale deportation programs repeatedly get bogged down in bureaucratic processes without ever being realized.

In Sweden, for example, the current government often speaks of a migration policy “paradigm shift” – despite mass immigration continuing at historically high levels and Sweden receiving almost 100,000 migrants last year.
