Volodomyr Zelensky, who used to joke and laugh, is now described as angry and silent.

Close associates of Volodymyr Zelenskyj are now anonymously revealing how the president has undergone a personality change, is deceiving himself, and refuses to acknowledge that Ukraine cannot win the war against Russia.

He deludes himself. We’re out of options. We’re not winning. But try telling him that, says one of Zelenskyj’s confidants to Time Magazine.

A Ukrainian government source who accompanied the president on his recent visit to the USA shares that any proposals to discuss or negotiate with Russia are still considered “taboo”, causing significant dissatisfaction.

Other individuals working closely with Zelenskyj tell the same magazine that the president of Ukraine increasingly feels betrayed by the international community and that his personality has changed lately.

Previously, Zelenskyj, originally a comedian, would often make his colleagues laugh by joking or being generally optimistic. But now, he’s described as angry and reserved.

– Now he walks in, gets the updates, gives the orders, and walks out, reveals a source.

Ceasefire Unthinkable

According to advisors to the president, his stubbornness has hampered the administration’s efforts to develop new strategies and messages. Currently, it’s also deemed impossible to negotiate any form of peace agreement or ceasefire.

Even though support for continued warfare against Russia has diminished over the year, Zelensky himself believes that Ukraine cannot “allow itself to get tired of war”

Even if someone gets tired on the inside, a lot of us don’t admit it. No one believes in our victory as I do, he has previously said.
