The remarks were made during an election rally for Orbán’s Fidesz party, according to Hungarian broadcaster Hir TV.

He pointed out that first it was about sending protective equipment, then about sanctions against Russia, then about sending weapons, first firearms, then tanks and airplanes, and financial support totaling about 100 billion euros.

French President Emmanuel Macron has previously said that the option of sending ground troops to Ukraine to take part in the fighting has not been ruled out. According to Russian intelligence, France was preparing such an operation as early as mid-March.
