Israeli journalist calls for “rivers of Gazans’ blood”

The situation in Gaza

Yehuda Schlesinger believes that too few Palestinians were killed during the invasion.

During a news program, Yehuda Schlesinger argues that “rivers of Gazan blood” are needed and that bathing Palestinians deserve a “painful death”.

– There are no innocents in Gaza, none at all, argues the Israeli journalist.

The whole of the Gaza Strip is not under constant siege or subject to constant aerial bombardment and fighting. In parts of the territory, residents can still get to the beach – either to cool off in the heat or to try to access supplies, which now often come by sea after Israel made it difficult for aid organizations to bring in food, water and medicine by land.

But the mere sight of Palestinians on the beach or in the sea infuriates Israeli journalist Yehuda Schlesinger, who delivered a strange monologue on Israel’s Channel 12 about how the Palestinian civilians on the beach deserve a “painful death” and how “rivers of blood of the people of Gaza” are needed.

Schlesinger tries to argue that Palestinian civilians are to blame for the kidnapping and killing of Jews by Hamas on October 7, and that “no one” in Gaza is innocent.

“Rivers of blood”

– These people deserve a hard death, an agonizing death. And instead, we see them enjoying the beach, having fun… There are no innocent people htere, in the Gaza strip. None. They voted for Hamas. They want Hamas, he continued, adding that Palestinian civilians were taking selfies with kidnapped Israelis.

The Israeli journalist is appalled that Palestinians are on the beach instead of “starving”, “being severely tormented” and “hiding from shelling” and wants to see rivers of Palestinian blood, despite the fact that more than 34,000 people have already been killed – the vast majority of them women and children.

– We should have seen a lot more revenge, a lot more rivers of Gazans’ blood. Until they come to their leaders and tell them to release the hostages.
