The globalist-oriented Bilderberg Meeting is, according to yet unconfirmed reports, set to hold this year’s gathering in Sweden. The exact date and participant list have not yet been officially confirmed, but the meeting is reportedly planned to take place in Stockholm in mid-June.
The Bilderberg Group’s controversial gatherings have long faced strong criticism, primarily due to the meetings being described as an important arena for the actual power establishment of the Western bloc – where the economic and political elites are effectively brought together – while lacking public transparency about what is actually discussed and decided beyond general agenda items. The meetings follow the so-called Chatham House Rule, which allows participants to use information from discussions but prohibits revealing who said what.
Wallenberg family key Swedish figures
A long line of Swedish prime ministers have attended the meeting, including the last four, Ulf Kristersson, Magdalena Andersson, Stefan Löfven, and Fredrik Reinfeldt. The most prominent Swedes within the group are the power players surrounding the Wallenberg dynasty and their investment company Investor. Both Marcus Wallenberg and his uncle Peter Wallenberg have for many years been members of the meeting’s so-called steering committee.
The meeting has been held in Sweden on four previous occasions, in 1962, 1973 and 1984 at the Wallenberg-owned Grand Hotel in Saltsjöbaden, and in 2001 at the Hotel Stenungsbaden in Stenungsund in connection with the EU summit in Gothenburg. Last year’s meeting was held in Madrid.
Once dismissed as a “conspiracy theory”
The public denied for a long time that the meeting was organized, or even existed, and was dismissed in the mainstream media for many years as a “conspiracy theory”. In the 21st century, as a result of independent media coverage, it has since been recognized that the meeting has actually been taking place since 1954, with high-profile lists of participants typically ranging from 120-150 specially invited participants.
