The fact that the spread of covid-19 has increased during the summer has been a long-running story in the Danish media and now the Swedish media is also starting to focus more and more on the message.
The “alarm” that was initially dismissed as the virus is here to stay and we have to learn to live with it and deal with it like any other rampant infection, has now turned into warnings with built-in admonitions.
Now the public is being scared again with new, more contageous sub-variants of the coronavirus thought to be behind this summer’s increase, while experts point out that the peak has not yet been reached.
The fact that the vaccination campaign will begin in mid-October, as previously decided by the Ministry of Health, is probably just a coincidence.
Vaccinate more
Infectious disease specialists note that immunity to the new variants appears to be short-lived, and that people can become infected with covid-19 only a few months after a previous infection, which is something we will have to get used to and which may affect the protection provided by vaccination. Previously, it was estimated that one vaccine dose would protect for 6-9 months, but now it is concluded that we seem to be moving towards a situation where the protection is more short-term.
The Gothenburg area is identified as one of the more affected areas for covid spread, but according to the head of the Emergency Development Center at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, it has not had a major impact and the hospital’s inpatient care has only noted individual cases of covid where most of the patients had underlying diseases, which was the pattern even during the so-called pandemic, although it was quiet about that particular bit.
A caveat is added, however, that the elderly and people at risk are encouraged to take booster doses of covid vaccine, which are said to be updated from the original doses, as the virus is constantly changing. Finally, we are told about the country’s vaccination coverage and how it has dropped significantly even among these groups.
Socially dangerous corruption
Indirectly, people are encouraged to be vaccinated more often to maintain “protection” now that “immunity” to the new variants is proving to be short-lived, even though it is now widely known that the vaccines do not prevent people from becoming infected and sick.
The recurring cases of vaccine side effects and deaths among celebrities and ordinary people alike, especially the many elite athletes who have died suddenly in recent years, may have awakened some people. However, the majority still seem to be buying into the lies.
It’s crazy that they can keep up with the recurring vaccination campaigns year after year, but as long as there’s money to be made and people to be fooled, the cycle will be endless.
There should be a term – like the Military Industrial Complex, which refers to the close cooperation between the military sector, defense contractors and politicians – that corresponds to health care, which should be scrutinized because the close cooperation between the health care sector, pharmaceutical companies and politicians is a danger to society and a source of widespread corruption.
