Starting from scratch, the Nordic region’s new daily newspaper has attracted an ever-increasing number of readers and on Thursday TNT surpassed ten thousand followers on Twitter.

Interest in The Nordic Times and a new Nordic daily newspaper has been high, not least among readers in the Nordic countries. Danes and Finns in particular stand out in the new audience of readers and followers.

Outside the Nordic countries, the British have been the most frequent readers, followed by the United States, France, Germany and Canada.

The Nordic Times is truly independent and has no external owners and is not backed by venture capitalists or industrial interests. The growth can be considered rapid given that the newspaper was launched as recently as December last year with small initial resources and that the newspaper is continuously financed exclusively by advertisements and donations from readers.

The aim is to increase its reach several times over in the coming year and to recruit more writers and columnists.

The editorial team thanks those who follow and support The Nordic Times on Twitter and other platforms, spreading articles and awareness of the newspaper.

With more donations, the new Nordic newspaper can grow much faster. Please consider a contribution via one of the options on the donate page.
